How We Got Started
In 2011, we saw a gap in the Arkansas lighting market. LED technology was taking off, but this new technology was expensive and local options were limited. If you wanted competitive pricing, you waited weeks for the products to ship from somewhere else. If something went wrong, good luck getting it resolved.
Stephen had spent years as a master electrician, working job sites and managing large-scale electrical projects. He knew what contractors needed: reliable product, fair pricing, and a supplier who actually picked up the phone.
Beam-Lite started with a simple idea—have quality LED lighting locally, price it right, and back it with the kind of service we would want if the roles were reversed.
From a Few Products to a Complete Line
We started with a handful of staple fixtures. Today, Beam-Lite offers a complete line of indoor and outdoor LED lighting—area lights, wall packs, high bays, panels, poles, and more.
Along the way, we've moved facilities multiple times to keep up with demand. Our current location in Conway, Arkansas gives us 15,000 square feet of storage capacity—enough to keep product stocked and ready to ship, not sitting on a boat overseas.
What started as a regional operation is now reaching job sites across the country. And we're still growing.

Our leadership team brings 116 years of combined experience in the lighting industry—from manufacturing and distribution to hands-on electrical work in the field.
Stephen Gilbreath
President & Owner
25 years in the lighting and electrical industry. Master electrician with hands-on experience overseeing large-scale projects, including work at Little Rock Air Force base and the William J. Clinton Presidential Library. Handles lighting design, sales, product development, and the day-to-day direction of the company.
Ashley Gilbreath
Owner & Office Manager
21 years in the lighting industry, including experience as a manufacturer rep. Oversees all accounting, payables, receivables, commissions, inventory management, and daily operations. Graduate of the University of Central Arkansas.
Kelly Clarke
Operations
50 years as a lighting manufacturer representative. Brings decades of industry relationships and deep expertise in lighting sales and distribution to the Beam-Lite team.
Debbie Clarke
Board Director
20 years as a manufacturer rep in the lighting industry. Provides strategic guidance and oversight as a member of the Beam-Lite board.
